Familia Vasquez

Illiana Vasquez was raised as migrant child and claims her parents were in transition all the time between the Coachella Valley, Delano, Corcoran, Fresno, and Modesto. Today she and her husband live on 2.3 acres in Bermuda Dunes, a suburb in the Coachella Valley where they are raising their five children and have custody of their two nephews. Illiana is the national director of the John Robert Powers Performing Arts Academy in Palm Desert. Her husband, Jorge Vasquez, also no stranger to the farmworker experience, is the owner of Palm Desert College, a computer technology training center.
