Familia Lerma

Armando Lerma was born in Indio, California, and was raised on his parents' date palm ranch in Coachella Valley. Armando believes his father left the migrant work because he wanted to settle down and not be moving the family around. He said both of his parents worked very hard to ensure that he and his brother received a good education and they also helped make it possible for each of them to purchase their first homes in the desert. Armando graduated with a degree in Art from Cal State Northridge and is presently enrolled in a teaching credential program in Los Angeles.
